The former Commissioner for Sports in Delta State and two-time President of the Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN) said that this year’s edition would be a talking point in the history of Nigerian sports.
It will be recalled that Bauchi hosted one of the best National Sports Festival in the year 2000, where Team Delta emerged as the winner for the first time. Bauchi had earlier hosted the National Sports Festival in 1991.
